The BIG Reward
"We're next on the log flume, Amber," I said boosting off the ground.
SPLONK! The boat sinks a little when we jumped in ready to have some fun splashes.
We started to go through a tunnel, a very dark tunnel but we weren't scared. Not until we stared to hear creaks and squeaks like foot steps coming closer.
"AAAAAAHHHHH" Loud music was suddenly playing Christmas songs, weird.
It sounded like horrible singing at high pitch from all the freaky dolls we were surrounded by.
I started seeing light then ...
SPLOSH! We started going down and getting water in our faces. I was like a laughing hyena except screaming.

Airport mania
"Chichichichichi," I shivered cold as an ice cube.
"What a terrible day to be going to the airport," I squeaked as I walked through the front doors of Auckland Airport.
I saw all my class members and many empty check ins that had glowing numbers directly above saying 69, 70, 71, 72, 73 all the way up to about 84.
About 10 minutes later a lady named Kandie escorted us through a whole lot of doors that led to more door and when I started to find myself getting a bit dizzy walking along a twisted hall we finally got to a room with a presentation waiting for us to watch it.
After it was finish we walked up to a great view of the planes and then ran back downstairs to the food court to buy morning tea. I bought an apple pie and frozen coke from McDonald's for only $2.
That was defiantly the highlight of my day!!

Ag Day
"Can the senior 1 chickens please go to ring 4" a man announced over the loudspeaker, that was me. It was my turn to take Caramel out into ring 4 and do my very best at perching, at showing off how well I have looked after her.
So many people were watching me, my dad was catching snaps, my mum was waiting to get a glimpse of my smile and everyone else was getting out their umbrellas because it was starting to pour down with rain.
Many parents and teachers came around to cover us and our chickens with umbrellas.
It took a while for the judge to score us, she kept saying "This is such a hard decision guys."
In the end I didn't get any red first place ribbons but I got a blue second place ribbon in caring condition and a yellow third place ribbon for perching and I was more than happy to get that on my very first Ag Day. ;-)

Butterfly Creek
BUTTERFLY CREEK!!!!
Last week on Wednesday all of Brookby School had a trip to Butterfly Creek. It was super fun! On the way there Amber, Patience, Caitlin and I went in my mums car.We listened to Glee music. When we got there we were all in this big playground and there was a small room right next to it and it was so we could put our bags in it. Rm 1 and Rm 2 were group A and Rm 3 Rm 4 and Rm 5 were in group B. Well group A got to go on the train first it was fun there were 4 seats in 1 trailer so Amber, Patience, Caitlin and I, were all together. After we went to the dinosaur Kingdom it was scary and we were singing the song from the Dinosaur Train to make it sound like it isn't such a scary place because it isn't. We stopped at the Farmyard after that there were rabbits and guinea pigs inside and outside there were goats sheep lamas and a really cute dog. Then we had some lunch and went back to the Farmyard and then we had to go to the butterfly house then the spider and cockroach house then the crocodile house and we got to see one of the crocodiles eat its food it was so cool. After that we came back for lunch played on the playground for a bit and then I went back to school in Jenny's car and we got ice cream but when i got back to school i didn't want anymore so I gave the rest to Amber she liked it a lot.

My Book Reveiw
In the holidays I read a book called "Girl V the World : It's Not Me, It's You" by Thalia Kalkipsakis.
It was about a teenage girl called Erin who was in the position where everyone around her was changing, boys stopped being friend and started being boyfriends, girls started wearing makeup and her sister started keeping secrets about her love life. But Erin wasn't changing at all.
Erin just wants to know how to be herself and fit in with everybody else.
I think this book would be great for 12 to 17 year old girls
I got this book out at the Manurewa Library in the young woman section.

I Am Poem
I am sporty and enthusiastic
I wonder if the world will end during my lifetime
I hear the birds talking and singing to me all through the day
I see different things in the clouds up in the sky(mostly dragons)
I want a puppy and to be happy forever
I am sporty and enthusiastic
I feel like I can do anything in the world and nobody can stand in my way
I touch mostly anything in my sight(not people)
I worry if I might die earlier than just old age
I cry whenever Mum or Dad cries
I am sporty and enthusiastic
I understand my sisters problems
I say”Life is to short to be anything but happy”
I dream that I will live forever
I try to do the best I possibly can at everything
I hope to get this new house I have been looking at for ages
I am sporty and enthusiastic

Ag Day animals are important because ...
Ag Day is Brookby School's major community event each year. Every child at Brookby is expected to raise a farm animal for this event.
Firstly Ag Day is a chance for children from yr1 to yr 8 to be responsible for something other than themselves. They have to feed it, give it something to drink, a place to sleep and it is mostly the children who have to do it.
Secondly, animals are always fun to play with, especially if you don't have any siblings. Children bond with it and connect with it for about 7 to 8 weeks.
Finally, having an animal gets children involved in the school. Being involved in an annual event may mean there is a chance to be able to win the Ag Day Shield!
Ag Day isn't always about winning, it's about getting kids hands a little bit dirty and not caring.its about getting involved, being responsible for something that's not the children and having fun. :-)
